Our Story

We've loved every minute of our journey

Behavior: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is DBT

DBT Skills is an evidence based practice, effective in helping us see the value in opposites and walking the middle path by using: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness skills.

Weekly individual and group DBT Skills sessions can increase happiness and reduce suffering.

Trauma: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is EMDR

EMDR techniques reduce symptoms of PTSD and trauma response (panic, anxiety, fear, depression, numbness, self harm).

As part of a Trauma Focused Therapy, EMDR can decrease suffering.

Schedule a professional consultation to see if the timing is right for you to use these fast and effective treatments.

Family: Systems & Attachment is a family focused approach

Bringing the family into therapy can speed up an individual's healing. How? The people we live with are part of our environment.

Family goals may include working toward healthy attachment, communication, empathy and other skills to create healthy relationships.

Infant Mental Health (birth to 5), parenting skills, play therapy techniques (sand tray, expressive art dance/movement), trauma caused by domestic violence, substance abuse, childhood abuse, trauma, family changes, divorce, blended families.

Families can work together and find therapeutic ways to

calm relationship stress.
